2016 CryoKids Initiative: Hearts and Minds of Ghana Mission Trip

As we are successful, we give back to others who are less fortunate.

In view of the important role that CryoLife plays in pediatric reconstructive surgeries, CryoLife has established the CryoKids® program. The mission of the CryoKids foundation is to provide funding for children needing cardiac reconstruction who do not have access to advanced surgical care or the funds to access such care. CryoLife learns about children in need through approved health organizations, charity groups, and surgeons.

CryoLife Commits to Funding the Hearts and Minds of Ghana Mission

This year, Boston Children’s Hospital is returning to Ghana for another medical mission trip. On October 25th, a team of healthcare professionals and volunteers from Boston Children’s Hospital will travel to Ghana for 10 days to perform cardiac surgeries for the children there.

CryoLife is committed to Boston Children’s Hospital’s mission to help the children of Ghana. Our goal is to raise $80,000 ($40,000 from CryoLife employees, with a company match of $40,000), which will cover the surgery costs for 20 children. We invite you to partner with us in sponsoring the mission so that 20 children will receive the cardiac surgery they need. By sharing our donation page with neighbors, family and friends, we can inspire others to support the hearts and minds of the children of Ghana.
