The Aortic Valve and Root Boot Camp provide a unique educational opportunity for fellows and senior residents focusing on the surgical anatomy and various procedures of the aortic valve and root. During the two-day program, fellows and residents will rotate through five separate training modules including Aortic Root Anatomy, Aortic Valve Replacement, Aortic Valve Repair/Sparing, Aortic Root Replacement, and Ross Procedure.

Each module is taught by acknowledged surgical experts, who facilitate the unique opportunity for the fellows and residents to learn and practice the various surgical steps required with each of these procedures, employing risk-free biological “simulators”.
