HemoStase®* is the fastest package-to-patient rapid-delivery hemostat available today. It requires no special storage conditions and no mixing or preparation prior to use. HemoStase can be applied when needed, as needed, quickly and safely.

	1. Remove excess blood from the target site Ensures HemoStase can be applied directly to the site of active bleeding.
	2. Apply HemoStase immediately to the site of bleeding Time is critical. Apply sufficient powder to cover the entire site.
	3. Apply wound appropriate direct pressure For gentle oozing, pressure may not be required. For profuse bleeding, apply pressure with dry gauze for 1-2 minutes.
	4. Remove excess dry powder Following hemostasis, saline irrigation (rinse) of excess powder is recommended.
