CVP Summit – March 2015 Overview

On March 5-7, 2015, the fourth Central Venous Pathology Summit will take place at CryoLife’s training facility at its corporate headquarters in suburban Atlanta, Georgia.   The aim of the Summit will be to examine treatment strategies for durable hemodialysis access in cases of central venous pathology through an interactive, data-driven and clinically-focused didactic and hands-on wet lab practicum.

The presentations and discussions will focus on the cause and scope, as well as the prevention and management of central venous pathology. In addition, the Summit will feature in-depth sessions on the HeRO® (Hemodialysis Reliable Outflow) Graft, including clinical presentations and an implantation. As part of this Summit, CryoLife will also invite several private companies with emerging technology related to central venous stenosis and durable hemodialysis access to make presentations.

The course directors will be William Northrup III, MD, Vice President of Physician Relations and Education at CryoLife; Marc H. Glickman, MD, FACS, Chief of Vascular Surgery at Sentara Healthcare; and Monnie Wasse, MD, MPH, FASN, Director of Interventional Nephrology at Northwestern University.
